Tomas’ experience extends over 14+ years throughout the Americas.
Currently Tomas Martinez is part of the Executive team at PHD Chicago, reporting to the President of the region, his responsibilities include leading the luxury brands for the VW Group (Porsche and Bentley) as well as growth initiatives for the agency.
In his previous role, Tomas held a leadership role at Starcom, managing media efforts for Kraft Heinz Co. and Procter and Gamble, amongst other agency wide responsibilities. His experience spans from investment to strategy, custom content and in recent years, guiding brands into data driven marketing.
Tomas has lead Multicultural efforts as well as building new teams for Starcom in Latin America where he was responsible for developing talent and elevating the company’s overall product to key global Clients.
Martinez has lead Clients with powerful brands such as General Motors, Walmart, Kellogg’s, Heineken, JCPenney, Telefonica/Movistar, Purina, Sprint, Disney Co. and Nationwide Insurance, amongst others. Tomas graduated from the ITESM (Tecnologico de Monterrey) in Mexico and has resided in the U.S. for the greater part of his professional years.
